Halifax Sailing Association

Keelboats

These are our Big Boys... they are 18' to 25' and accomodate as many as four or five people. Each of these boats has a designated Boat Captain that coordinates reservations and oversees the boat’s maintenance. The Boat Captain is also responsible for making sure that all boat users are qualified to sail the specific boat in accordance with the Policy and Procedure For Use of Keel Boats – 18’ and Over.

All sailors who are already checked out on a particular boat must contact the boat captain before they use it to make sure the boat is in working order and that it is not already booked for that day.

Always enter your departure and return in the Boat Sign-out Log.
